Acceptance of terms

By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting a work, making a payment or downloading material, the user confirms that these terms and conditions have been read, understood and accepted.

Platform description

IJAES is an online academic and editorial platform for electronic publication of scientific articles, doctoral articles, academic books, chapters, theses, volumes and editorially reviewed materials.

User accounts

• users must provide real, accurate and updated information
• authentication data must be kept confidential
• the user is responsible for all activity performed through the account
• IJAES may suspend or restrict an account in case of abusive or fraudulent use

Work submission

Authors may submit works through the academic account. Submission does not guarantee automatic publication. Publication depends on administrative verification, editorial analysis, academic compliance and, where applicable, publication fee confirmation.

Author responsibility

• the author declares that the submitted work is original and that the necessary rights for publication are held
• the author is responsible for the accuracy of title, name, affiliation, ORCID, abstract, keywords and uploaded files
• the author must comply with citation rules, copyright, publication ethics and data protection
• IJAES is not responsible for false, incomplete, plagiarized or unlawfully uploaded content submitted by the author

Editorial process and review

Works may be subject to editorial, administrative and academic verification. IJAES may request revisions, clarifications, corrections or additional documents. The final decision regarding publication, rejection, suspension or withdrawal belongs to the editorial administration.

Fees, payments and access

• certain services, publications or access to materials may be subject to payment
• fees are displayed in the platform and may vary depending on publication type or editorial settings
• confirmed payments allow activation of the corresponding service or access
• non-payment of an applicable fee may block publication or access to material
• payment requests are reviewed according to transaction status and the service provided

Access to publications

Some publications may be publicly accessible, while others may require payment or authentication. The user may not redistribute, sell, massively copy or make downloaded materials available to third parties outside the limits allowed by law and author rights.

Electronic certificates

For published works, IJAES may generate electronic publication certificates. The certificate confirms electronic publication in the platform, but does not release the author from responsibility for originality, legality and accuracy of the published content.

Copyright and intellectual property

Authors retain rights over their content, except for the necessary rights granted to the platform for display, publication, archiving, technical processing and distribution according to editorial settings. The IJAES logo, platform structure, design and technical components belong to the platform or authorized rights holders.

Prohibited uses

• uploading illegal, plagiarized, fraudulent, defamatory or abusive content
• infringing copyright, personal rights or confidentiality
• using the platform for cyber attacks, spam, fraud or unauthorized access
• publishing false data regarding authorship, affiliation, ORCID, academic status or rights over the material

Personal data and confidentiality

Personal data processing is carried out according to the privacy policy and cookie policy available on the website. Data is used for authentication, account administration, editorial process, payments, publication, communications and platform security.

Limitation of liability

IJAES makes efforts to ensure proper operation of the platform, but does not guarantee continuous availability, absence of technical errors or specific academic results. The user uses the platform at their own responsibility, in compliance with these terms.

Changes to terms

IJAES may update these terms to reflect technical, editorial, legal or operational changes. The version published on the website is the applicable version at the time of access.
