IJAES Publication Ethics

Ethical commitment

IJAES treats publication ethics as an essential part of editorial activity. Authors, editors and all persons involved in the editorial process must observe the principles of academic honesty, fairness, confidentiality and professional responsibility.

Author responsibilities

• authors must submit original, assumed and properly documented works
• all declared authors must have made a real contribution to the work
• bibliographic sources, citations and reused materials must be properly indicated
• data, images, tables and uploaded files must be used legally
• authors must avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data falsification and redundant publication

Originality, plagiarism and self-plagiarism

Works submitted to IJAES must comply with originality requirements. Content copied, paraphrased without citation, improperly reused or presented as new without editorial justification may lead to rejection, suspension or withdrawal of the publication.

Editorial responsibility

• editorial decisions must be based on academic relevance and compliance with publication requirements
• editors must treat submitted works impartially and confidentially
• materials uploaded by authors must not be used for personal or unauthorized purposes
• any suspicion of ethical violation must be examined seriously
• final decisions regarding publication, correction or withdrawal belong to the IJAES editorial administration

Conflicts of interest

Authors and persons involved in the editorial process must declare any conflict of interest that may influence the evaluation, interpretation, publication or presentation of a work.

Data, images and protected materials

• personal data must be handled according to applicable legislation
• images, charts, excerpts, tables and third-party materials must be used only with legal right or permission
• authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions
• materials that infringe copyright or personal rights may be removed from the platform

Corrections and withdrawals

If material errors, ethical violations or authorship issues are identified after publication, IJAES may request clarifications, update metadata, publish a correction or withdraw the work from the platform.

Misconduct

• plagiarism or self-plagiarism
• fictitious authorship or omission of a real author
• manipulation of data or results
• copyright infringement
• false declarations regarding affiliation, ORCID, contribution or work status
• uploading documents without publication rights

Certificates and publishing responsibility

Electronic certificates issued by the platform confirm the electronic publication of an accepted work. The certificate does not release the author from responsibility for originality, data accuracy and copyright compliance.

Publication ethics reports

Reports regarding possible publication ethics violations may be submitted to the IJAES editorial team through the contact page. The analysis is carried out according to the available documents and the information provided.
